Work Your Butt Off Cancellation for Wed 7 Nov

ATTENTION: Work-out Cancellation Tonight!

Work Your Butt Off @ Caldwell School from 6-7pm is (regretfully) CANCELLED

Spin Your Butt Off @ Heritage Fitness Centre from 7:30-8:30pm is STILL ON!!!

If you were planning to join me at 6pm and can spin your butt off at 7:30pm, please let me know. I will reserve you a bike and cover your day pass (if you are not a gym member). Space is limited for spin your butt off, so do contact me asap.

Work Your Butt Off work-outs from 6-7pm on Thurs @ Caldwell School and Fri @ Almonte United Church are STILL ON! So join me those nights, if you can.

How to Look and Feel Great for Life:

Tip # 1: You have your bucket list, now MAKE YOUR “F It List”

… write out, in list form, all the things you know are dragging down your health and keeping you from your fitness goals, then rank the i

tems from easiest to hardest to change.

After falling off of and stumbling back on the fitness success wagon numerous time, most people think they will not achieve their goals unless someone takes the reins and does the work for them (plans their meals, locks-up the sweets cupboard and run their exercise regime). This might do the trick and hey, you can pay me to do this , but it is not sustainable. The BEST thing to do is to join an Erin O’Reilly Fitness camp and start whittling away at your “F- It List”.

*** Be mindful that 80% of people will try to change all of them at once and then, due to the huge feeling of pressure, they will fail to permanently change any. Don’t be a statistic. Attempt one or two at a time and remember that 3 weeks of consistently doing something enables it to become habit. This approach will enable you to identify with success and consequently make changing bigger items on the list much more likely!

So, make your list! Take Ashley, from Carleton Place, list for example:
– Strive to eat fresh/real food only
– Stress… get rid of it!!!!
– No more distracted driving (ie. texting, make-up, fighting with kids)
– Don’t eat within 2 hours of bed
– Drink more water (pee should be clear)
– Drink less (ideally no) juice/sugary Starbucks & Timmy’s drinks
– Stop eating packaged food (crackers, chips, boxed/bottled drinks, etc)
– Do not skip breakfast (and make it healthy)
– Eat fresh food
– Don’t eat the kids’ … scratch that, anyone’s left-over’s
– Limit wine to 1-2 glasses once per week
– Floss daily
– Did I mention stop the constant feeling of stress?
Now rank the list based on easiest to hardest to change:
1. Floss daily
2. Drink more water (pee should be clear)
3. Do not skip breakfast (and make it healthy)
4. Don’t eat the kids’ … scratch that, anyone’s left-over’s
5. No more distracted driving (ie. texting, make-up, fighting with kids)
6. Drink less (ideally no) juice/sugary Starbucks & Timmy’s drinks
7. Don’t eat within 2 hours of bed
8. Eat fresh/real food only

Now, Ashley’s goal this week is to attend all of her Work Your Butt Off Fitness Camp work-outs that she registered for and aim to do the first 2 items on the list…. a lot easier (and more sustainable) then the ol’ “all or nothing technique”, eh?!
